best of beauty : golden globes 2010

who watched this past weekend's Golden Globes? apparently "avatar" was the evening's big winner, but we weren't all that concerned with the blue-skinned na'vi and james cameron's appalling hair. instead, we were focused on the plethora of stunning starlets and their (sometimes questionable) hair and makeup looks! so, who is our pick for best GG beauty?

KATE HUDSON

w
hile her sartorial choice may have been divisive (we're still at odds about that structured marchesa gown), there is no doubt that kate looked show-stoppingly gorgeous from the neck up. from her elegantly upswept hair to her sophisticated makeup palette, kate was easily the most glamorous guest of the night!

luckily for you, dear readers, ms. hudson's look is very easy to re-create using products found at nuBest! after applying foundation and concealer as you see fit, use a highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes, as well as on the brow bone, in order to open the eyes. on eyelids, use the light gray shade from nuBest's Signature Shadow Quad in Muse. apply the pearly white shadow from the same Shadow Quad along the lower lash line, as well as on the brow bone. apply the darker gray shadow (also from the Signature Shadow Quad) in the crease of the eyelid for added dimension. to get kate's dramatically lined eyes, use PowderLiner eye pencil in Coal to line the inner rims of your eyes. for long, luxe lashes, use Revitalash Volumizing Mascara. finish with a pink blush (nuBest has a line of blushes for every skin color!) and LipTox Lipgloss in Sheer Angel, which will give you kate's peachy-pink pout, and will also subtly plump up your lips.

do you agree with our pick? who do you think looked best (or worst) at the Golden Globes? let us know in the comments section!
