How-To: Slicked Back Bob

Posted on   |   Comments (1)

Sweeping a bob back away from the face gives the style a fresh, sultry feeling that adds drama. Pushing hair away from the face highlights the cut’s crisp edge and adds strength and youthfulness.

Try a subtle version with slick roots and soft ends or a stronger variation with shiny and smooth texture. However you choose to wear it, this style will give your bob a whole new dimension.

Damp and Loose: Mix together a quarter of Moroccan Oil, Hydrating Style Cream and a dime of Redken Rough Paste, which provides definition and manageability with flexible control. Run through, towel-dried hair, working roots to ends. Push hair back with a wide-tooth comb and allow to air-dry.

Shiny and Smooth: Apply Kérastase Elixir Ultime, nourishing oil that provides ultimate shine to the ends of damp hair. Apply a nickel of Redken Shape Factor to roots, working in from the front hairline. Using a paddle brush, dry hair, pushing back away from the face. Finish the look with Kérastase Gloss Appeal, for instant shine and topcoat spray.

(All products mentioned are available at nuBest salon and spa to use conveniently at home.)

  • My older behtorr (Jason) was Dan’s big behtorr in Delta Chi at William & Mary, I always heard him referred to as Lieutenant Dan . Since I first heard of your husband/father’s disappearance, I have been drawn to any headline that has Iran or missing in it. This new video of Bob must bring so much hope, and understandable frustration. Is there anything I can do to help? Whether it be to write a letter to Hillary Clinton or other government officials? Or something to help bring more attention to this story? Bob and your family are always in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know what I can do to help
